>>HOME<< 　 Welcome to the 8th IDS Meeting in Japan On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee (*), I would like to welcome you all to the 8th IDS meeting in Japan, which will be held in Awaji Island from 6th to 9th October, 2005. The venue of the meeting is Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center (http://www.yumebutai.org/conf_e/index.html), 90 minutes’ drive from Kansai International Airport. The accommodation will be The Westin Awaji Island (http://www.westin-awaji.com/english/index.html), which is directly connected to the conference center by a corridor. The conference center and the whole Westin Hotel are now reserved for the IDS-8 meeting. Also, it takes only 90 minutes from the Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center (or The Westin Awaji Island) to Kyoto, where the attendants of the meeting could enjoy the most beautiful city in Japan before or after the meeting.
